How long does it take to see the results?

Study shown that consumption of 1.2g – 1.6g of plant sterols per day (in milk) over 4 weeks reduced the LDL-cholesterol level, in mildly hypercholesterolemic subjects, by 7% and 10% respectively (Thomsen et al, 2004).

What happens if I take more than 2 servings/day of Nestlé Omega Plus ActiCol?

There are no known negative side effects from consuming more than 2 servings daily. However, intake above 3g of plant sterols per day is unlikely to provide additional cholesterol-lowering benefits. A balanced diet rich in fibre is still recommended.

Yes, this is normal. The white particles are calcium carbonate, which is sparingly soluble in water. Some particles may remain undissolved and are safe for consumption.
